The thing common to grievance mongers whether domestic or foreign is that there is no appeasing them. The very name suggests that their purpose in life is to find flaws where none exist, find insults were none were made and get aggrieved where no offence was intended. You can change your lyric, donate generously, apologize profusely it makes no difference. They are not interested in righting any wrong, they are interested in the power they can exercise in society. The fact that you bent over to appease them is proof that you will do so again, and your willingness to do so is their fuel. You shall be asked to bend over again and again, till the time you have nothing left.
There are two popstars in the USA by the names of Beyonce and Lizzo. It is my sincere hope that the eyes of the readers of this article have not had their eyes profaned by their music, but now that this article is about them, I apologize for contributing to the spread of profanity.
Anyhow, these two popstars have utilized their sex appeal and in the case of Lizzo, their victimhood to propel themselves to the top. One only has to listen to one of their songs to figure out the proportion of sex appeal vis a vis musical talent in their videos. By the way Beyonce claims to be a committed Christian and was raised Methodist. I guess the epitome of Methodist Christianity is a scantily clad woman asking impressionable women to get naked and ‘explore’ their sexuality.
Recently, it was Beyonce that released a song called ‘Heated’ that which contained the lyrics ‘spazzing on that ass’. As an aside, the deplorable state of popular culture and what passes for education in the USA is clearly on display.
The problem with this particular line of drivel being passed off as lyrics is the usage of the term, spazzing. That in the USA means acting crazy, weird or that she is going to get into a fight. Usually, it means a display of abnormal behaviour. Lizzo had also used the same offending term in one of her songs. The controversy arose when a white woman got aggrieved by the term and claimed to represent the entire differently abled community in complaining that the term spazz is a slur for them. She then immediately demanded an apology.
What is peculiar to this controversy is that a white woman wanted a black woman to apologize, something that in another context would clearly cause immense controversy and earn said white woman universal condemnation. But since she claimed she was representing another victim group, not a whimper of protest was heard against her. Clearly to fight a self-proclaimed victim, you have to be a self-proclaimed victim.
Once this controversy started Lizzo immediately removed the spazz word from her song and so did Beyonce once the controversy rose to a fever pitch. Not once did either of them think about the widespread ramifications of their actions. But that is too much intellectual firepower to expect from people who think spazzing on that ass can be a lyric in a song. Beyonce and Lizzo have now opened the possibility for grievance mongers to go over songs with a fine-toothed comb, find something that they find offensive and expect that the entirety of the society to bend over backwards to accommodate them. And this power once discovered and put to use by professional grievance mongers of the Left, will be used for all sorts of things including movies, drama, books etc.
One then wonders how is this relevant to India. We have the same class of professional grievance mongers in India. The only difference being that they use caste, class, ethnicity, statehood etc as grievances to force society to accommodate them. Nothing genuine motivates them, nor does the actual result of their activism affect them. What does motivate them is the name and fame they earn as ‘champions of the oppressed’ and the big bucks they earn for their ‘NGOs’ and interest groups. That is why you have non farmers raising a hue and cry about farmers while knowing all along that they themselves are not, were never and will never be affected by anything that affects farmers.
The same tactics, the same claims to sympathy, the same claims to representing a group are made by grievance mongers in India.

The only way to defang grievance mongers is not to listen to them or assign their words any value. It serves no purpose to listen to them and it does not help to implement what they want you to implement. The only purpose of a grievance monger is to cause you irritation, and as such they should be treated with no more seriousness than they deserve, that is, as an irritant.
